With the creation of the module, we decided to create our own group separate from the local model railroad group.  The Bluewater Model Railroad Associates was established to recognize those who are involved in the project. Members include Jack Breddy, Stephen Bird and myself currently.

     We also felt in creating the module we had opportunity to use it as a platform to hopefully have clinics and information sessions for others to take part in.  We could show the process for construction, electrical wiring, DCC operation, scratch building and scenery that others may find helpful in their own layout builds.

     Jack had a contact in London Ontario with the London O scale group, they were beginning a complete new layout in a new building.  They were looking into using Ardiuno controls and neo pixel lighting and had a gentleman who was quite versed on the subject.  Jack was able to convince him to come and give a presentation to local modellers in the Sarnia area.

     We held our first information night on Ardiuno controls in May of 2019 with some success.  The system has many possibilities that the Sarnia model railroad group members were very interested in learning about.  The next step will be to organize an actually hands on clinic in creating a basic control step by step.

     The Ardiuno system has endless possibilities from switch control, animation on the layout and lighting effects, at a very reasonable cost and relatively easy wiring and set up.
